Our Vancouver based client is seeking for an experienced SAP Finance and Controlling (FI/CO) Functional Lead to join their team on a full time permanent basis. The ideal candidate must have deep technical expertise, strong business acumen, and leadership capabilities to drive finance processes and the upcoming S/4HANA transformation. This will be a hybrid role with the exact amount of on-site scheduled days to be confirmed.
Key Responsibilities.
- Lead configuration, design, and scoping activities across finance processes.
- Gather and analyze business requirements to inform solutions and system enhancements.
- Provide day-to-day support, system enhancements, and issue resolution for ECC/S4 environments.
- Deliver projects across finance and accounting, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders for process improvements.
- Strong business acumen and understanding of finance processes.
- Experience in requirement gathering, process design, and system configuration.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Retail and Fashion or something very similar like discreet manufacturing otherwise is a major asset.
