Our Ontario based client is seeking for an experienced SAP Functional Trade and Promotion (TPM) and Vistex System Analyst to join their team on a full time permanent basis. The ideal candidate should have 5 + years of experience, preferably with SAP or another leading ERP application, with a focus on maintenance, business analysis, process improvement, system support, and Trade and Promotion system implementation support. This will be a hybrid role with the exact amount of on-site scheduled days to be confirmed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Working with SAP-Vistex system functionality and other relevant technologies to optimize processes and improve operational performance. Assess potential efficiency gains and cost savings.
- Responsible for resolving system (Vistex) and related business process issues logged by end users in ticketing system.
- Able to forge productive working relationships with senior business users and business managers and acquire subject matter expertise efficiently. Able to work with all levels of the organization including presenting to senior business users and managers.
- Developing and implementing solutions to streamline trade and promotion management, process integration, and enhance overall system performance.
- Understand Vistex configuration and manage system. Have the capability to optimize configuration.
- Ability to analyze complex cross-functional business processes, identify gaps, and define functional and integration requirements.
- Analyzing trade & promotion data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement in trade promotion, data visibility and overall efficiency.
- Create and manage business documentation including reference guides, current and future state process maps, user stories, business requirement document, functional requirement document and system requirement specifications.
- Make recommendations on leveraging and unlocking functionality within the module that has not been explored and where necessary identify enhancements required.
- Working with various functional teams, including finance, sales, brand, IT, and management teams, to implement changes and ensure smooth operation.
- Communicate with business SMEs to ensure expectations are kept in line with operations excellence.
- Drives the definition, testing, training, and implementation of functional requirements.
- Support and coordinate user acceptance testing.
- Support the development of training materials and execution. Upon implementation, drives knowledge transfer to ERP production support.
- Develop presentations for senior management to facilitate discussions on project or program progress, results, and assistance needed from them.
- Certification as a Certified Business Analysis Professional is an asset.
- Background in CPG, Distribution, Supply Chain, or Retail industry is preferred.
