Our Montreal based client is seeking an seeking an SAP HCM Solution Payroll Architect  for a 3 month project with possibility for extension. This will be a hybrid work setting on-site presence will be required for 3 days a week. 

• The ideal candidate will  support a partner in engaging with customers and defining project plans during the initial phase of an HXM project.
• The successful candidate will play a key role in designing and implementing the new payroll solution, integrating it with other systems, and ensuring a smooth transition from the legacy software.
• French-speaking proficiency is an asset.
• Lead the design of SAP SuccessFactors HXM Suite and SAP HCM payroll solutions based on client requirements and best practices. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical specifications.
• Design and implement integrations between SAP SuccessFactors HXM Suite, SAP HCM payroll, and other systems, including UKG/Kronos if applicable. Ensure seamless data flow and functionality across the integrated landscape.
• Configure SAP SuccessFactors HXM Suite and SAP HCM payroll modules to meet business requirements, including setup of employee data, payroll rules, and workflows.
• Develop and execute test plans to ensure the quality and reliability of the implemented solutions. Conduct system integration testing and support user acceptance testing.
• Create comprehensive documentation including design documents, configuration guides, and user manuals to facilitate knowledge transfer and support.

• Extensive experience (5+ years) working with SAP SuccessFactors HXM Suite and SAP HCM payroll modules, preferably in Greenfield implementation projects.
• Strong understanding of payroll processes, tax regulations, and compliance requirements in multiple jurisdictions.
• Experience with integration technologies and methodologies, including experience with UKG/Kronos integration is a plus.
• Proficiency in SAP Payroll configuration, including wage types, schemas, rules, and personnel calculation rules (PCR).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Effective communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients, stakeholders, and team members at all levels.
• Project management experience is a plus, including the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• SAP certification in relevant modules (e.g., SAP Certified Application Associate – SAP HCM Payroll, SAP SuccessFactors certifications) is preferred.
