Our Ontario based client is seeking an experienced SAP HCM Time Management Consultant to join their project immediately and will run for 1 year with possibility of an extension. The ideal candidate should have 8+ years of hands-on SAP HCM Time Management experience, with strong understanding of SAP HCM integration with Payroll and other HCM submodules, and experience working within highly customized SAP environments along with ability to reverse-engineer existing SAP configurations and undocumented business processes. This will be a fully remote work setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Configure and support SAP Time Management functionality, including: Work Schedules, Planned Working Time, Time Evaluation, Attendance Recording, Absence Management, Leave Management
Wage Types related to time processing - Analyze and reverse-engineer highly customized SAP Time Management configurations with limited documentation.
- Understand the downstream impacts of configuration changes across Payroll and the broader SAP HCM landscape.
- Support complex unionized business rules, collective agreements, and scheduling requirements.
- Work closely with functional leads, developers, and business stakeholders to troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
- Participate in solution design sessions and recommend SAP best practices while respecting existing business processes.
- Document configurations, business rules, and technical processes to help build long-term institutional knowledge.
- Support testing activities, defect resolution, and deployment planning.
- Collaborate with teams to ensure successful project delivery.
