Our Indiana based client is seeking an experienced SAP IS-U Device Management & AMI Functional Consultant to join their project immediately on long term contract. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in IS-U Device Management, including meter reading, scheduling, exception handling, validation, and estimation processes along with strong understanding of AMI integration and MDUS architecture is essential, as is familiarity with core AMI business processes such as provisioning, interval data management, and remote disconnect/reconnect operations. The candidate should also possess a solid command of MR scheduling, I-SU asset lifecycle management covering installation, removal, and replacement and be well-versed in CT/PT and related technical concepts. This will be 50% travel for this role with candidates expected to travel to the client site every other week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee end-to-end IS-U Device Management operations, including meter reading, scheduling, exception handling, validations, and consumption estimations.
- Manage AMI integration and maintain a deep understanding of MDUS architecture to ensure seamless data flow and system reliability.
- Drive AMI business processes such as provisioning, interval data management, and remote disconnect/reconnect processing, ensuring operational efficiency.
- Design and optimize meter reading (MR) schedules to maximize field productivity and data accuracy.
- Manage the full lifecycle of ISU assets, including creation, installation, removal, and replacement activities, while maintaining data integrity.
- Apply CT/PT concepts to support accurate metering configurations and resolve technical discrepancies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot exceptions, refine estimation logic, and continuously improve device management workflows.
