Our Vancouver based client is seeking an experienced SAP IS-U Work Management Consultant to join their project in November 2026 and will run for 9 months with possibility of an extension. The ideal candidate should have extensive SAP IS-U Work Management experience and project implementation expertise. This will be a hybrid role with the exact amount of on-site scheduled days to be confirmed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support Blueprint Workshops – Represent business interests in blueprint sessions, gather requirements, and validate proposed solutions against utility industry best practices.
- Design & Configure Work Management Solutions – Configure SAP IS-U Work Management and Plant Maintenance (PM) modules, including service orders, work orders, scheduling, and resource planning.
- Manage End-to-End Work Order Lifecycles – Oversee the full cycle of work orders from creation and planning to execution, confirmation, and settlement, for both internal and external utility work.
- Handle Move-In/Move-Out & Metering Orders – Execute service orders for customer moves, meter installations, removals, and replacements to ensure accurate and timely order completion.
- Create Functional Specifications – Prepare Functional Design Documents and interface specifications for custom developments, and coordinate with technical teams on enhancements.
- Manage System Integrations – Configure and maintain interfaces between SAP and external systems (using ALE/IDocs) and ensure integration with Device Management, CRM, and FICA modules.
- Support Testing, Training & Go-Live – Plan user training and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), provide L2/L3 post-implementation support, and assist with cutover activities during go-live.
