Job Description

Our client is in search of a Bilingual (French and English) SAP Master Data Governance specialist to join their organization on a full-time permanent basis. This ideal candidate will be based in Montreal and expected will consist of a combination of on site and remote work.

  • Develop and manage MDG practice activities.
  • Ensure delivery of services and support business development.
  • Develop and monitor the progress of the roadmap (service portfolio and tool development).
  • Participate in the management committee.
  • Manage the team's staffing plan and coordinate recruitment linked to the MDG market.
  • Monitor the team’s structure (roles and responsibilities) and work processes.
  • Identify improvement opportunities, prioritize and ensure delivery of associated improvement projects.
  • Ensure the development and quality control of practice training materials.
  • Obtain customer feedback and follow up on actions related to this feedback for continuous improvement purposes.
  • Deliver the customer mandates assigned to the MDG Practice Lead successfully and in accordance with DBC values.
  • Conduct effective follow-up meetings with required stakeholders.
  • Develop and coach team members.
  • Manage the partners required for the delivery of MDG services.
  • Foster a positive work environment.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends. Carry out technological monitoring of solutions.
  • Network in the sector and participate in events related to the practice.
  • Promote  MDG practice through the writing of articles.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, information technology, administration or any other relevant field.
  • 10 to 15 years of experience in data management and data migration during ERP deployment projects (ideally SAP). Good knowledge of the different areas of governance.
  • Consulting experience, knowledge of ERP solutions and different data objects in a manufacturing environment or experience in leading a team of data primes.
  • Resource management and coaching skills.
  • Leadership skills and creativity in the context of solving complex problems.
  • Expert in Excel including with data analysis tools.
  • Excellent customer approach, autonomy, initiative and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment.
  • Meticulousness and passion for teamwork.
  • Bilingual (French and English).

Additional Information

Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
