Our Toronto based client is seeking an experienced SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) and Master Data Management (MDM) Consultant to join their project immediately on a long term contract to support multiple on going projects for our client. The ideal candidate should have extensive SAP MDG experience along with strong communication skills to articulate MDM value and workflows, and experience with multiple project implementations. This will be a fully remote work setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support SAP MDG implementations across multiple projects simultaneously.
- Support ongoing multiple projects by providing post-go-live maintenance, enhancements, and troubleshooting.
- Design and govern master data workflows, validation rules, and data quality frameworks.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT teams, and data owners to gather requirements and align on MDM strategies.
- Articulate MDM value, processes, and ROI to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Manage project roadmaps, milestones, risks, and deliverables from initiation to go-live.
- Drive change management, user training, and post-implementation adoption.
- Ensure seamless master data integration and replication across ERP, S/4HANA, and downstream systems.
- Establish and monitor data quality KPIs, duplication metrics, and process cycle times.
- Mentor and guide junior team members on MDG configuration and best practices.
