Our North American client is looking to hire an SAP Datasphere Specialist to join their team immediately on a full time permanent basis. The candidate should ideally have a minimum of 8+ years of experience in SAP environments, along with hands-on Datasphere development experience. This role will interact with teams across various departments throughout North America to develop and maintain data models, ETL configurations, and other data assets in Datasphere. This is a remote role but needs to be open to travel to Nashville (up to 20%).
Key Responsibilities:
- Datasphere Specialist who can hit the ground running immediately.
- Finance experience is a MUST to understand the business requirements and convert to the technical needs.
- Design, implement, and maintain complex: data models, data schema, and structures in Datasphere to meet business requirements.
- Create complex views and ETL/ELT transformations using: the Datasphere graphical interface, SQL, Python, and scripting capabilities.
- Provide end-to-end expertise in Datasphere to support the delivery of business requirements in SAP Analytics Cloud (visualization front-end) and other reporting platforms, in North America, that will connect to Datasphere.
- Serve as the SME for the Datasphere platform to proactively identify potential issues, solutions, and improvements to keep business processes running as smoothly and seamlessly as possible.
- Monitor data performance and remediate issues with query and data processing performance as necessary to achieve quick and efficient response times in data models.
- Collaborate with SAP Analytics Cloud Administrators/Developers and IT to understand and deliver data modeling requirements in Datasphere.
- Collaborate with IT, Finance, and Commercial teams to understand the diverse needs of the organization and context behind the requested data models, data assets, and related calculations in Datasphere.
- SAP Licenses/Certifications related to SAP Analytics Cloud and Datasphere are an asset.
