Our North American client is seeking for an experienced SAP Material Management and Production Planning (MM-PP) Business Systems Lead to join their team on a full time permanent basis. The ideal candidate should have 10 + years of hands-on experience with SAP MM and PP modules, including configuration and support with at least 1 full-cycle SAP S/4HANA implementations focusing on manufacturing and supply chain processes with strong integration knowledge across related modules including SD, EWM, PP, QM, and FI CO, and a track record of delivering full-cycle SAP S/4 HANA implementations. This will be a fully remote work setting with limited travel to the client office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for leading end-to-end solution delivery, post-go-live support, and continuous process improvement.
- Ensure effective integration with other SAP modules such as SD, EWM, P2P, QM, and FICO.
- Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into detailed functional specifications.
- Create and maintain Functional Design Documents (FDDs) and work closely with technical teams to ensure accurate implementation.
- Support production processes including Procure to Pay, Inventory Management, Workflow
- Handle support activities including issue resolution, root cause analysis, and performance tuning.
- Lead cross-functional workshops, provide guidance on SAP best practices, and identify opportunities for process optimization.
- Train business users and provide ongoing support for post-implementation activities.
- Mentor team members and foster collaboration across business and IT teams.
