Our Ontario based client is seeking for an experienced Functional System Analyst - Sales (SD) & Pricing to join their team on a full time permanent basis. The ideal candidate should have 5 + years of experience, preferably with SAP or another leading ERP application, with a focus on maintenance, business analysis, process improvement, system support, and Sales and/or Pricing system implementation. This will be a hybrid role with the exact amount of on-site scheduled days to be confirmed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Working with Sales & Pricing system functionalities and other relevant technologies to optimize processes and improve operational performance. Assess potential efficiency gains and cost savings.
- Able to forge productive working relationships with senior business users and business managers and acquire subject matter expertise efficiently.
- Able to work with all levels of the organization including presenting to senior business users and managers.
- Developing and implementing solutions to streamline sales & pricing operations, process integration, and enhance overall system performance.
- Provide support to end user community by working independently. Responsible for resolving system (SAP) and related business process issues logged by end users in ticketing system.
- Ability to analyze complex cross functional business processes, identify gaps, and define functional and integration requirements.
- Analyzing sales data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement in order processing, data visibility and overall efficiency.
- Assess potential efficiency gains and cost savings. Ability to recommend opportunities to optimize use of SAP system.
- Create and manage business documentation including SOP, work instructions, current state and future state process maps, user stories, business requirement document, functional requirement document and system requirement specifications.
- Understand SAP S&D basic configuration and manage system.
- Make recommendations on leveraging and unlocking functionality within the module that has not been explored and where necessary identify enhancements required.
- Working with various functional teams, including finance, warehouse, IT, and management teams, to implement changes and ensure smooth operation.
- Communicate with business SMEs to ensure expectations are kept in line with operations excellence.
- Drives the definition, testing, training, and implementation of functional requirements
- Support and coordinate user acceptance testing. Including building Test Scenarios, drafting test scripts, building test data and executing test scripts.
- Support the development of training materials and execution. Upon implementation, drives knowledge transfer to ERP production support.
- Develop presentations for senior management to facilitate discussions on project or program progress, results, and assistance needed from them.
- Certification as a Certified Business Analysis Professional is an asset.
- Knowledge of EDI and multi system integration functioning will be advantageous.
