Our Vancouver based client is looking to hire an Senior SAP FICO Solution Architect to join their team starting immediately. The ideal candidate should have strong CA or CPA expertise, with a deep understanding of financial principles and processes including process mapping, documentation, design, architecture, monitoring, and enabling continuous improvement. This is a hybrid role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the client's S/4HANA Greenfield Implementation.
- Own end-to-end implementation of S/4HANA solutions, ensuring alignment with financial best practices and business requirements.
- Configure and customize modules to meet client needs, with a focus on finance (FI/CO) and integration points.
- Financial Process Excellence.
- Design, document, and optimize financial processes (e.g., process mapping, controls, workflows).
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, compliance, and reporting accuracy.
- Stakeholder & Advisory Leadership.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, translating complex financial requirements into scalable S/4 solutions.
- Train and support end-users, ensuring smooth adoption post-go-live.
- Industry-Specific Adaptation (Ideal)
- Leverage mining or heavy industry experience (if applicable) to tailor solutions for sector-specific challenges (e.g., cost tracking, inventory management).
