Our Toronto based client is seeking an experienced SAP Production Engineering and Operations (PEO) Consultant to join their project immediately and will run until December 2028 with possibility of an extension. The ideal candidate should have extensive SAP PEO experience and project implementations. This will be a fully remote work setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end SAP PEO implementations – Design and deploy the full PEO solution within S/4HANA, bridging product engineering with shop floor operations.
- Configure product and process master data – Set up version-controlled Manufacturing BOMs (MBOMs), routings, work instructions, work centers, and production versions.
- Manage manufacturing change control – Handle Engineering Change Records (ECNs), convert Engineering BOMs to Manufacturing BOMs, and assess change impact on production.
- Facilitate business process workshops – Conduct fit-to-standard and fit-gap sessions with engineering and operations teams to align SAP capabilities with manufacturing requirements.
- Integrate PEO with other SAP modules – Ensure smooth data exchange with Production Planning (PP), Quality Management (QM), Materials Management (MM), and Plant Maintenance (EAM).
- Support the full project lifecycle – Manage blueprinting, configuration, testing, cutover, UAT support, defect resolution, and hypercare.
- Provide shop floor execution expertise – Guide production operators on using role-specific apps for work execution, progress tracking, serialized parts management, and defect documentation.
