Our Toronto based client is seeking an experienced Senior SAP Production Planning (PP) and Materials Management (MM) Consultant to join their team on a full time permanent basis. The ideal candidate should have 5+ years of hands-on SAP PP/MM consulting experience, strong SAP PP configuration and manufacturing process expertise, and experience with SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA implementations/conversions. This is a hybrid role that requires working on-site 2 days per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the PP functional lead for SAP S/4HANA transformation and enhancement initiatives, with the ability to lead requirements gathering, solution design, testing (FUT/SIT/UAT), cutover, and go-live activities.
- Configure and support SAP PP processes including Production Planning, MRP, Inventory Management, Procurement, and Batch Management.
- Collaborate with business users, implementation partners, and cross-functional teams (MM,SD, QM, FI/CO, WM/WMS).
- Support MM related enhancement and processes
- Gather business requirements and translate them into scalable SAP solutions.
- Act as Lead and support FUT, SIT, UAT, cutover, go-live, and hypercare activities.
- Prepare functional specifications and work with technical teams on developments and integrations.
- Provide day-to-day SAP application support, incident resolution, and continuous improvement recommendations.
- Support manufacturing, planning, procurement and warehouse operations through effective SAP solutions.
- SAP IBP and WM/WMS integration experience would be is an asset.
- Strong troubleshooting and production support experience
Nice to Have:
- SAP IBP Supply Planning experience.
- Knowledge of SAP WM/EWM or third-party WMS integrations.
- Experience in food manufacturing or consumer packaged goods (CPG).
- SAP PP/MM certification.
- Experience with batch traceability and warehouse operations.
