Our Montreal based client is seeking a SAP Project Manager to be part of their ongoing S/4 HANA implementation project. This is a contract role that is set to start immediately and will run till March 2025. Local candidates that are fluent in French and English are highly preferred, however, all strong candidates that fit the job description will still be considered for the role.
- The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, communication, and project management skills, with a focus on delivering projects within scope, time, and budget constraints.
- Experience with project management tools such as MS Project and JIRA are an asset, as well as experience in the Aeronautic industry.
- Lead and manage SAP implementation projects, ensuring successful integration, adherence to scope, timelines, budget, and quality standards.
- Utilize SAP Activate/Agile methodology to drive project delivery and continuous improvement.
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets using MS Project, ensuring alignment with project objectives and resource allocation.
- Coordinate and communicate with project stakeholders, including internal teams, external vendors, and clients, to ensure clarity of project requirements and progress.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies, utilizing effective risk management strategies.
- Oversee procurement activities related to project resources and materials, ensuring timely delivery and cost-effectiveness.
- Provide leadership and guidance to project team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing project environment.
- Conduct regular project status meetings, report on project progress, and escalate issues as necessary to ensure project success.
- Ensure compliance with project governance processes, standards, and best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project objectives and deliverables.
- Travel to client sites as needed, with onsite presence required in Montreal weekly or bi-weekly based on candidate location.
