Job Description

Our Toronto based client is seeking a dynamic SAP/IT Project Manager coming from either a Utilities or Oil & Gas background to join their organization immediately. This will be a hybrid work setting with a combination of occasional on-site and remote work.

  • As a Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and delivering projects that encompass both SAP and non-SAP systems within the Utility and Oil & Gas sector.
  • Leveraging your experience in delivering Data Conversion projects in the Utility or Oil & Gas sector to drive successful outcomes.
  • Any experience with SAP IS-U solution, particularly in Billing, is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with Oracle ERP for Finance and Supply Chain Management (SCM) is an asset.
  • Leading end-to-end project management activities, from initiation to closure, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and with high quality.
  • Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Utilizing your industry knowledge to understand the impact of SAP solutions on critical areas such as Billing, Asset Management, Smart Metering, etc.
  • Managing stakeholder expectations and providing regular project updates to ensure alignment with business goals.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager, with a strong track record of successfully managing SAP and non-SAP projects in the Utility or Oil & Gas sector.
  • Excellent understanding of project management methodologies and best practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to dive into technical details when necessary.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • PMP or other relevant certifications are preferred.

Additional Information

Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
