Job Description

Our Ontario based client is seeking a dynamic SAP/IT Project Manager coming from either a Utilities or Oil & Gas background to join their organization immediately. This will be a hybrid work setting with the exact number of on-site to be confirmed.

  • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in delivering data conversion projects within the Utility or Oil & Gas sectors.
  • Lead end-to-end project management activities from initiation to closure, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and with high quality.
  • Utilize your experience in SAP delivery to drive successful project outcomes, particularly in the areas of Billing, Asset Management, and Smart Metering.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and provide regular project updates to ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Leverage your industry knowledge to understand the impact of SAP solutions on critical areas such as Billing, Asset Management, and Smart Metering.
  • Familiarity with Oracle ERP for Finance and Supply Chain Management (SCM) is an asset.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager, with a strong track record of successfully managing SAP and non-SAP projects in the Utility or Oil & Gas sector.
  • Experience with GIS software, Maximo, Oracle and SAP CIS ( IS – U solutions)
  • Excellent understanding of project management methodologies and best practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to dive into technical details when necessary.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • PMP or other relevant certifications are preferred.

Additional Information

Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
