Our Canadian based client is seeking an experienced SAP S/4 Data Migration Lead contractor to join their project starting immediately and will run for 3 months with possibility for extension. This will be a fully remote work setting allowing candidates to be based anywhere in CANADA as long as they can accommodate working on EST.
- The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in data transformation, with a proven track record in ERP data migration.
- The Lead will be a skilled Technical Data Specialist that will support the migration of data from non-SAP systems to SAP S/4HANA.
- SQL Proficiency: Strong ability to write and optimize queries.
- Data Modeling & Scripting: Experience in creating data models and transformation scripts.
- ERP Data Migration: Mandatory prior experience in ERP data migration projects.
- SAP Module Knowledge: Experience with FI, SD, MM, and RE-FX.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Analyze source data and perform data profiling and cleansing.
- Create data mappings and develop transformation scripts.
- Extract, transform, and deliver data in SAP-ready format (Excel) for the implementation partner.
- Collaborate with teams to ensure data accuracy and compliance with migration requirements.
