Our Toronto based client is seeking an experienced SAP S/4 Finance contractor to join their project starting immediately and will run for 3-6 months with a strong likelihood for a longer extension. This will be a hybrid work setting with 3 day's of on-site work required.
- The ideal candidate will possess hands-on expertise in SAP S/4 Finance configuration and processing, with a comprehensive understanding of enterprise data structures.
- The candidate will contribute to implementation projects, production support, error handling, and cross-functional integrations.
- Configure and manage SAP S/4 Finance modules to support financial processes and reporting.
- Understand and implement enterprise data structures, including organization structures and standard/custom chart of account code blocks.
- Perform chart of account data mapping and support financial reporting utilizing SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) and CDS views.
- Configure Average Daily Balance (ADB) and multi-currency accounting processes.
- Lead and participate in at least one end-to-end implementation and one production support project, ensuring seamless error handling and process optimization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for upstream and downstream system integration.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities.
- Effective incident and ticket management skills.
- Ability to monitor and optimize system performance, including analyzing SAP Notes.
- Proficiency in user assistance and business user training.
- Experience in cross-functional support and application enhancement/customization.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with stakeholders.
