Our Toronto-based client is seeking an experienced SAP S/4 HANA Finance Functional/Technical Developer to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis. This is a hybrid work opportunity.
- ABAP Development: Strong background in ABAP development, including custom reports, enhancements, interfaces, and forms.
- FI Module Expertise: Experience with the Finance (FI) module, with a proven ability to perform hands-on configuration, including account determinations, fiscal year variants, and tax configurations.
- Integration: Understanding integration points between FI and other SAP modules like SD (Sales and Distribution), MM (Materials Management), and PP (Production Planning).
- Experience with SAP Fiori: Familiarity with SAP Fiori apps for finance and reporting.
- BRF+: Knowledge of BRF+ for business rules management is beneficial.
- SAC Integration: Experience with integration to SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) is a plus.
- Design and Development: Responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining SAP solutions to meet business requirements. This includes solutions for API connectivity to third-party solution providers (e.g., payments, taxes), electronic bank statements, data transformations, and approval workflows.
- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for SAP S/4HANA system configurations and custom developments.
- Collaboration with Stakeholders: Collaborate with business stakeholders to improve and streamline processes, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Financial Reporting: Build custom reports to support stakeholder requirements and provide support for the finance team during month-end close activities.
- System Maintenance: Perform daily maintenance, monitoring, and administration of the SAP S/4HANA system.
- Control Review: Review and establish controls based on feedback from internal auditors.
