Our Calgary based client is seeking an experienced SAP Finance Solution Architect to join their project starting in September with an excellent possibility of extension as this project is expected to go multi-year. This will be a remote work setting with significant travel, mainly within the United States, but with occasional trips to Europe.
- The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in manufacturing and cost accounting, as well as a deep understanding of S/4HANA, specifically in a greenfield implementation context.
- This position requires a strong communicator who can work effectively across multiple time zones, particularly starting work at 7:00 AM EST to coordinate with teams in Germany, Sweden, and offshore in India.
- Lead the S/4HANA Finance Rollout: Oversee the implementation of the S/4HANA template across the US and Canada, ensuring alignment with global standards and practices.
- Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary liaison between finance teams in North America, Europe, and offshore teams in India. Strong communication skills are essential for dealing with stakeholders across different cultures and time zones.
- Knowledge Transfer: Work closely with the current consultant to ensure a smooth transition and knowledge transfer before they leave in September.
- Cost Accounting & Manufacturing: Provide expertise in cost accounting within a manufacturing context, ensuring that the S/4HANA rollout meets the specific needs of the business.
