SAP S/4 HANA Project Manager

Job Description

Our Montreal based client is seeking an experienced S/4 HANA Project Manager to join their project starting early August and will run 5 months with a possible extension of an additional 24 months. This will be a hybrid work setting with the exact number of on-site to be confirmed.

  • Lead SAP S/4 HANA and IT related activities as part of the construction and commission of the clients new warehouse facility.
  • Establish, monitor, and maintain the overall S4 project plan for both projects, including coordinating task dependencies with other groups and departments.
  • Establish and lead the governance of the two projects, track progression throughout the phases of the project, monitor major risk mitigation and issue resolution plans, and report on adherence to leadership group.
  • Responsible for the success of the program, in line with the strategic objectives of the organization or business unit.
  • This involves the application of all aspects of program management practice (planning, finance, status, risk, issue solving, etc.).
  • Responsible for developing the program roadmap, managing the planning and interdependencies between all program components. 
  • Manage the program budget and it’s usage by all components, and review variances and requests for any changes.
  • Assure a proper stakeholders management within the program & ensure that the scope of the program defined by the Sponsor is respected and delivered within the program. 
  • Provide comprehensive leadership & integrated management of all aspects of the program.
  • Participate in updating the program's business case and project listings throughout the program's lifecycle.
  • Ensure that the PMO methodology framework for program management is applied.
  • In collaboration with PDM and PMs Team Leads, support and coach the PMs within the program, in the realization of their projects. 
  • Ensure that the administration of the program's supplier contracts is well managed, while ensuring compliance with contractual agreements.
  • Coordinate and support the transition to operations and post-implantation of the program. Ensure that the program's change management plan is carried out and followed up.
