Our Calgary based client is seeking an SAP S/4 HANA IS-Oil & Gas SCM Consultant to join on a full time permanent basis. This will be a hybrid work setting with the exact amount of day's on-site required to be confirmed.

• Candidates will work  within the SCM (Supply Chain Management) domain, focusing on SCSD (Supply Chain Service Delivery), IPW (Integrated Planning for Utilities), and RFNO (Retail Fuel Network Operations).

• SCM Domain Focus:

  • Specialize in SCSD (Supply Chain Service Delivery), IPW (Integrated Planning for Utilities), and RFNO (Retail Fuel Network Operations) within the SCM (Supply Chain Management) domain.

• IS-Oil Expertise:

  • Must have extensive experience with IS-Oil, specifically in the SCSD, IPW, and RFNO modules.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Collaborate effectively with SD (Sales and Distribution) and MM (Materials Management) teams.

• SAP Function Management:

  • Manage SAP functions of CPE (Commodity Pricing Engine) and BRF+ (Business Rule Framework), as well as general pricing for Sales and Distribution and Purchasing.

• Sustainment and Efficiency Improvement:

  • Contribute to the sustainment and efficiency improvement of the current S/4 HANA environment, which is being upgraded to a newer version.
  • Address and build efficiencies lost due to customization during the upgrade.

• Business Process Understanding:

  • Gain a thorough understanding of business processes and the SAP S/4 landscape in Retail/Wholesale, Operational Master Data, Scheduling, Commercial Transaction Execution Capture, Secondary/Logistics Costs, and Sales & Distribution.

• Interface Support:

  • Support various interfaces with trading partners or in-house external systems.

• Requirement Translation:

  • Translate user requirements into functional/technical specifications for new SAP configurations.

• Problem Resolution:

  • Resolve complex business/system problems quickly and effectively, either individually or by leading a team.

• New Process Implementation:

  • Participate in the design, development, testing, implementation, and utilization of new business processes/solutions.

• Coaching and Training:

  • Provide coaching and training to business end-users to enhance their hands-on system skills.

• Agile Team Collaboration:

  • Work collaboratively within an Agile team mindset, contributing to the planning and prioritization of work.

• Software Patches and Upgrades:

  • Participate in and support software patches and upgrades within the application landscape.

• Five years of related SAP experience supporting Oil & Gas Downstream and/or Upstream business processes.
• Strong knowledge of SAP SD and MM.
• Experience with process knowledge specific to Retail/Wholesale business processes of Oil and Gas rack forward business.
• Hands-on experience on SAP IS-Oil, TSW, TD Shipment, HPM and Exchanges.
• Business and technical experience supporting SAP S/4 focus in IS-OIL, CPE and BRF+.
• Basic knowledge of BTP, ABAP coding and debugging.
• SAP related certifications (S/4 HANA) or equivalent.
• Agile experience with delivery into enterprise organizations with familiarity of agile mindset.
• A related bachelor’s degree in business management or computer science and/or combination of other education and equivalent work experience.
