Our Toronto based client is seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud Edition Professional Services Solution Lead to join their project immediately on a long term contract. The ideal candidate should have 8 to 12 years of total experience, with 6+ years in SAP professional services. Should also have 2 or more full-lifecycle S/4HANA Professional Services implementations, including end-to-end solution ownership on at least one. Hands-on configuration currency is essential meaning they have configured within the last 12 months, not just designed. They should also demonstrate sound public cloud extensibility judgment, including knowledge of in-app extensions, side-by-side/BTP, and an decision making understanding of when the right answer is to change the process instead. This will be a primarily remote work with minimal travel to the client office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the integrated Professional Services solution design across the full engagement lifecycle; maintain the end-to-end process model and the dependencies between process areas.
- Act as the workstream technical conscience on fit-to-standard assess every proposed gap against template capability, roadmap and public cloud extensibility limits.
- Configure hands-on in the tenant, particularly cross-process and integration-adjacent areas that do not sit cleanly in one owner scope.
- Own solution-level impact assessment for design changes, including downstream effects on Finance and Reporting.
- Run end-to-end scenario testing across process boundaries; own defects that fall between process areas.
- Serve as the escalation point for design questions the Manager and Senior Consultant cannot resolve within their scope.
- Own the SAP quarterly release impact assessment for the workstream.
Preferred Experience:
- Professional services industry; SAP Professional Services Cloud certification; prior template or product role at SAP or an SI; bilingual (EN/FR).
- Engagement setup, resourcing, time, billing, WIP and revenue recognition — not depth in one area only.
