Our Montreal based client is seeking an SAP SD Consultant to join their organization on a permanent full-time basis. This will be a hybrid work setting. Local candidates are preferred but the client is also open to seeing candidates based in either Ottawa or Toronto with occasional travel required.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in supporting SAP implementations.
- Minimum of 3+ years’ experience with SAP S/4 HANA and configuration of the SD module.
- Experience and knowledge of SAP technology stack (BTP, ABAP, SQL, JAVA etc.)
- Ideally someone coming from a consulting background.
- The candidate will be part of new SAP S4 HANA implementation along with business users and implementation partner.
- The ideal candidate will work with all departments within the organization including IT, accounting, legal, procurement, retail, manufacturing and distribution and the operations team, to ensure a stable operating environment, increase efficiencies and exploration of additional capabilities within the systems.
- Participate in business requirements review sessions for system solution with different business groups.
- Partner with the project team to design, configure, test, and deploy solutions, including integrations.
- Drive technical discussions and demonstrate business and ERP knowledge and expertise to drive business process improvements.
- Run UAT with end users including coordination and user acceptance sign-off.
- Developing integrations with SAP systems and other third-party systems.
- Taking the lead on data migration.
- Assisting the business users on ERP Function.
- Experience in EDI is considered an asset.
- French speaking considered an asset.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to facilitate workshops effectively.
