Our Toronto based client is seeking an experienced SAP SDI (Smart Data Integration) Technical Consultant to join their project starting immediately and will run for 3-6 months with a strong likelihood for a longer extension. This will be a hybrid work setting with 3 day's of on-site work required.
- The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with data loading and integration across the SAP landscape and third-party systems, along with a strong technical foundation in SAP HANA and related tools.
- The candidate will ideally have experience in SAP GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance).
- Hands-on expertise in SAP SDI integration throughout the SAP landscape and with third-party systems (upstream and downstream), including:
- Data connectivity and modeling.
- Data transformation and loading.
- SAP HANA database concepts, HANA SQL, and data management.
- Proven technical understanding of data mapping and integration processes.
- Proficiency in additional SAP HANA technical skills such as:
- ABAP programming.
- SAP BW.
- SAP Cloud Platform.
- Involvement in at least: One end-to-end implementation project, one support project, including error handling and troubleshooting.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Experience in incident and ticket management.
- Proficiency in monitoring issues, SAP notes, and system performance.
- Effective business user assistance.
- Cross-functional team collaboration.
- Competence in enhancement and customization within applications.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with stakeholders.
