Our Toronto based client is seeking an experienced SAP Solution Architect contractor to join their project starting immediately and will run until end of March 2025 with possibility for extension. This will be a hybrid work setting. All candidates must hold Canadian Federal Government Secret Security Clearance.
- The ideal candidate will have significant experience working with EAM, specifically within the Plant Maintenance (PM) module of SAP, and will be responsible for leading integration strategies, architecture design, and solutions across various SAP systems.
- SAP SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) experience is required.
- The resource will oversee integration solutions, provide Solution Architect leadership, and drive SAP architecture for enterprise applications, leveraging expertise in EAM and PM processes.
- The proposed resource must be certified in SAP Functional modules (preferably in EAM, PM, ECC, BW, or S/4HANA).
- Must have EAM experience (inside Plant Maintenance module)
- The projects should follow SAP ASAP, SAP Activate, or equivalent methodologies.
- The candidate must have been directly responsible for overseeing Solution Architect responsibilities on at least 2 complete SAP project life cycles.
- Demonstrated hands-on involvement in the design, implementation, and management of SAP solutions for asset management and maintenance operations.
- Design and propose SAP Solution Architecture for the project based on functionality, functional fit/gap, technical integration points between products and legacy systems the context of an overall SAP Solution Architecture.
- Articulate effectively through presentation and reports high-level Solution Architecture to business stakeholders and low-level design to SAP functional and technical resources.
- Analyze, develop detailed plans and knowledge transfer on standard SAP configuration, associated business processes, and how data should be populated in tables and fields.
- Produce and review in-depth Configuration Documents and Business Process Procedures (BPP).
- Write and review RICEFW Functional Specifications and reviewing Technical Specifications;Review project testing plans and develop project testing plans that covers Full Project Life Cycle functional testing (unit through to user acceptance testing);Estimate overall project Level of Effort (LOE) based on functional, technical, data.
- Define the application tiers, frameworks, components types and interfaces.
- Identify key business and technology drivers that impact Solution Architecture, such as end- user community requirements, existing software distribution capabilities, existing application environment (including legacy and packaged systems), and performance and availability requirements, and designs Solution Architecture to meet these considerations.
- Define strategies and plans for application rationalization and retirement in the context of the project’s phasing strategy.
- Lead the Solution Architecture Team decisions and reviewing/authorizing architecture decisions, leads code design reviews.
- Monitor and support the implementation of the system’s applications to ensure they are compliant with the Solution architecture, and refines the Solution Architecture as required, and provide Knowledge Transfer (KT) to personnel on an on-going basis in the form of oral, written or presentation as specified by the Technical Authority.
