Our Vancouver based client is seeking an experienced SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP) Security Lead to join their project in May 2026 and will run for 6 to 8 months, with possibility of an extension. Ideal candidate 7+ years SAP Security experience, including SuccessFactors security & SAP HR/HCM Payroll authorizations. Must have completed 3+ full-cycle SuccessFactors implementations as ECP Security Lead or Team Member (design, build, testing, cutover, hypercare), including Employee Central Payroll (ECP). Proven project experience supporting mining &/or oil & gas companies in Canada required. This will be a fully remote work setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead security activities for full project lifecycle (Fit-to-Standard/requirements, design, build, testing, cutover, and hypercare) for SuccessFactors ECP and connected SAP landscapes.
- Design, build, and troubleshoot roles/authorizations for SAP HR transactions (e.g., PA10, PA20, PA30, PPOME, PPOCE), HR infotypes, structural authorizations (as applicable), and payroll-related processes, ensuring least-privilege access.
- Partner with integration and technical teams to enable secure end-to-end processes across SuccessFactors and SAP back-end systems, including integrations with SAP S/4HANA and SF ECP interfaces.
- Support security testing activities (SIT/UAT/regression), resolve authorization issues, and document security designs, role matrices, and access provisioning procedures for project and operations teams.
- Ensure segregation-of-duties (SoD) and compliance requirements are embedded into the ECP security design; support audit evidence needs, access reviews, and go-live readiness.
- Provide advisory and hands-on support for security across other SuccessFactors modules and SAP S/4HANA (e.g., Finance) as needed, ensuring consistent role governance and access provisioning.
- Experience with security for other SuccessFactors modules (e.g., EC, Recruiting, Onboarding, Time, Compensation, Performance) and/or SAP S/4HANA roles for Finance (FI/CO) or other SAP modules is an asset.
- SAP GRC Access Control experience and SOX/ITGC audit support is an asset.
