Our Toronto based client is seeking an experienced SAP Supply Chain and Optimization Program Manager to join their project immediately on a long term contract. The ideal candidate should have 10 years of industry experience and a strong foundation in project management along with at least 3 years leading teams and managing diverse cross-functional groups, building trust across all levels, and confidently communicating with senior leadership to drive alignment and results. This is a hybrid role that requires working on-site 3 days per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the planning and delivery of multiple initiatives aligned with the S&OP program.
- Lead the full project lifecycle (initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, control, and closure) for all projects linked to contracted deliveries.
- Develop and implement comprehensive project strategies utilizing Agile or Waterfall methodologies as appropriate.
- Facilitate team collaboration and creativity by removing impediments, fostering empowerment, and promoting entrepreneurship.
- Lead and facilitate team meetings to ensure clear communication, alignment, and effective problem-solving.
- Own and refine project processes to ensure efficiency and continuous improvement.
- Manage project risks proactively, adjusting schedules and task priorities to meet committed timelines and quality standards.
- Serve as a primary communicator, ensuring transparency and stakeholder alignment across all project phases.
