Job Description

Our Toronto-based client is seeking a SAP Synchronization for the Geographical Enablement Framework (Sync4GEF) Consultant to join their project starting in January 2026 for a one-year contract with the possibility of an extension. The ideal candidate will have proven hands-on experience with Sync4GEF environments and the ability to contribute and implement ideas. This is a hybrid role; the specific days required on-site will be confirmed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete assigned project tasks and deliverables on time, adhering to project plans and Sync4GEF methodologies.
  • Perform hands-on configuration, customization, and testing of relevant software systems and applications.
  • Execute technical tasks throughout the entire project lifecycle, from initial setup and development to deployment and go-live support.
  • Build, migrate, and validate master and transactional data according to project specifications and data standards.
  • Provide direct support for system integrations, interfaces, and data flows between different platforms.
  • Conduct unit testing and support integration and user acceptance testing (UAT), documenting results and troubleshooting issues.
  • Identify, diagnose, and resolve application issues in development, testing, and production environments.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation for configurations, processes, and support procedures.
  • Work closely with project leads and business analysts to translate business requirements into functional, technical solutions.
  • Collaborate effectively with other team members and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Provide hands-on support and training to end-users during and after implementation.
  • Work directly with client stakeholders to understand issues, gather feedback, and implement effective solutions.

  • Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
