Our Vancouver based client is seeking an experienced SAP Testing Specialist to join their project immediately and will run for 1 year, with possibility of an extension. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in SAP testing roles, including proven collaboration with technical teams along with demonstrated strong functional knowledge of SAP modules (e.g., FI, MM, SD, HR) and hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA, ECC, Ariba, SuccessFactors, and Concur. Additionally, should have expertise in test case creation, execution, and defect tracking, along with familiarity with both Agile and Waterfall methodologies. This will be a fully remote work setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle other testing types such as test automation, performance testing, stress testing, negative testing across the organization within the scope of the program.
- Coordinate test environment setup and test data preparation.
- Run system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), and regression testing.
- Coordinate testing and defect management using tools like CloudALM, Tricentis, Azure Dev Ops, ServiceNow etc.
- Monitor testing progress and ensure timely delivery of quality outcomes.
- Work closely with SAP functional consultants, developers, and business partners.
- Provide regular status updates, test summaries, and defect reports.
- Conduct root cause analysis and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
- Expertise in designing and managing testing flows across platforms.
- Understands the security implications of system configuration and ensures compliance with policies and regulations.
- Good ability to engage with various business units and external partners to ensure successful testing planning and execution.
- Able to work cross-functionally with business and technical teams to achieve cohesive integrated testing plans.
