Our client is seeking a highly skilled Transportation Management Specialist to join their team for a long-term contract. This fully remote position will involve working on three distinct projects for a US-based client. 

• Collaborate with the client to understand transportation management needs and objectives.
• Develop and implement transportation strategies to optimize efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Coordinate logistics operations, including route planning, carrier selection, and shipment tracking.
• Monitor transportation performance metrics and identify areas for improvement.
• Communicate regularly with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure smooth operations.
• Provide timely reports and analysis to support decision-making processes.

• Proven experience in transportation management, preferably in the food supply chain industry.
• Familiarity with transportation software and systems (e.g., TM systems, TMS).
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and trends.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote setting.
