Our New Jersey based client is seeking an experienced SAP Transportation Management (TM) Project Manager to join their project in August 2026 and will run until July 2028, with possibility of an extension. The ideal candidate should have extensive SAP TM Project Management experience with a track record of delivering multiple concurrent releases end to end, from planning through go live and hyper care. This will be a primarily remote work with travel to the client site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end delivery for 3 upcoming releases, managing plans, milestones, dependencies, and release readiness through go-live and hyper-care.
- Own project governance, status reporting, risk mitigation, issue escalation, and executive-level communications.
- Manage full project financials including forecasting, actuals tracking, month-end close, budget consumption, and profitability.
- Coordinate resource staffing, onboarding, and capacity management in partnership with SAP Resource Management.
- Govern scope changes by assessing timeline, budget, and delivery impacts, securing approvals, and documenting changes.
- Ensure deliverable quality, drive risk resolution, and support deployment planning and cutover activities.
- Apply SAP TM knowledge and transportation domain understanding to guide project decisions and team collaboration.
