The SFDC Solution Manager will be responsible for Governance surrounding the SFDC platform and solutions. He/She will need to ensure all compliance requirements are met, application lifecycle management processes are optimized, business orientation and needs are enabled.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Collaborate and work with the solution management leadership and business stakeholders to continuously evolve and mature the SFDC Center of Excellence capabilities, functions, and responsibilities
Advocate for the SFDC COE in the organization as a means to help the business realize it’s goals and objectives
Champion and direct adoption of appropriate policy, compliance practices, standards, processes and guidelines, enabling process standardization across the COE platforms
In collaboration with Architecture, establish the roadmap for SFDC technology both in terms of sustainment and enhancements
Build solid relationships and liaise with business stakeholders and the owner community to ensure a high level of synergy and collaboration
Provide thought leadership in application lifecycle management, seeking to implement best-practices that improve value delivery
Contribute and provide support to the continuous integration and deployment culture across the applications teams to support continuous improvement objectives
Lead the development and adoption of application development and configuration practices which will include but is not limited to areas of:
- Build, Release and Change
- Quality assurance, Testing and Deployment
- Knowledge management and Training
Identify and recommend automation and process technology support as needed
Recommend and promote team member education to enhance (systems) functional expertise and capabilities that drive further innovation, simplification, and improved end-user adoption, resulting in greater value realization
Support team members and business services departments in devising new support material based on the revised processes, to include training, reporting and systems enhancements
Support improvement initiatives from assessment through implementation of solutions and ensure that business controls are put in place to monitor sustainability of process improvements.
Establish and follows budgets for small improvements initiatives
Develop and implement frameworks to measure IT value and effectively
Develop and implement appropriate Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure compliance to process governance standards and change management processes
