Our Toronto based client is seeking an experienced Senior Manager IT Business Solutions and SAP Finance to join their team on a full time permanent basis. The ideal candidate brings 10+ years of SAP business systems experience, paired with 5+ years of team leadership and management experience combined with deep Finance functional knowledge with hands-on configuration and S/4HANA expertise across modules such as FI/CO, Asset Accounting, Project Systems, Funds/Grants Management, SD, BI/Analytics, and Ariba Invoice Management. They also have a strong command of SAP integration and end-to-end business processes. This will be a hybrid role with the exact amount of on-site scheduled days to be confirmed.
Key Responsibilities:
SAP Finance & Solution Leadership
- Provide expertise across relevant SAP Finance and integrated business processes, including FI/CO, Asset Accounting (AA), Project Systems (PS), Funds/Grants Management (FM/GM), SD and BI.
- Oversee the solution and implementation and ongoing support of SAP Finance business systems.
- Provide senior-level SAP solution architecture, functional design and hands-on configuration expertise.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex SAP issues escalated beyond the help desk and third-party support teams.
- Support SAP S/4HANA and Ariba Invoice Management capabilities.
- Evaluate existing business processes and identify opportunities to improve systems, efficiency and business value.
- Ensure end-to-end business and systems knowledge is maintained and documented.
Stakeholder & Relationship Management
- Act as a senior IT liaison between client, member hospitals, business leaders, IT teams and third-party vendors.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with hospital stakeholders and business process owners.
- Facilitate workshops, requirements sessions and solution discussions involving multiple stakeholder groups.
- Translate complex technical concepts into clear business and executive-level language.
- Manage difficult or competing stakeholder requirements while maintaining alignment and trust.
- Present recommendations, project status and business cases to senior leadership.
Project & Program Delivery
- Lead and support initiatives from business case development through implementation and stabilization.
- Manage scope, requirements, schedules, resources, risks, testing, change management and budgets.

- Business requirements
- Functional designs
- Project plans
- Test plans
- Test scenarios and cases
- Knowledge-transfer materials
- Project charters
- Blueprints and related documentation
- Provide quality assurance over third-party configuration, development, documentation and testing.
- Track and communicate project status, milestones, quality and value measures.
- Work closely with the project management team and external SI partner to ensure successful delivery.
People Leadership
- Lead and develop one Senior Business Analyst.
- Provide direction, coaching and support to team members.
- Establish priorities and ensure deliverables are completed to a high standard.
- Collaborate closely with IT leadership and cross-functional teams.
