Our Canadian based client is seeking an experienced Senior Manager, SAP Asset Management Solutions to join their team on a full time permanent basis. The ideal candidate should have 12+ years of SAP experience, significant experience supporting mining, oil and gas, utilities, or other asset-intensive industries, a minimum of 4 full lifecycle SAP implementations, experience serving as a functional lead, solution architect, or senior advisory resource, and strong S/4HANA experience. This is primarily a remote work setting, with approximately 30–50% travel expected.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead SAP solutioning activities for large transformation initiatives.
- Serve as the industry authority during client discussions, workshops and pursuits.
- Translate business and operational requirements into SAP solution strategies.
- Lead functional contributions to RFP responses, proposals and oral presentations.
- Develop solution assumptions, scope boundaries and effort estimates.
- Build and defend business cases with senior client stakeholders.
- Support fit-to-standard workshops and solution design sessions.
- Act as a functional design authority during project delivery.
- Ensure continuity between the solution sold and the solution delivered.
- Provide escalation support for complex business process and scope decisions.
- Support change management discussions related to process transformation.
- Develop reusable industry assets, accelerators and solution frameworks.
- Mentor functional consultants and contribute to practice development.
- Experience with SAP Public Cloud is highly desirable.

- Mining: Mine-to-cash processes, Asset management and maintenance, MRO and warehouse operations, Production reporting, Commodity sales and settlement.
- Oil & Gas: Well-to-wallet processes, Hydrocarbon product management, Inventory valuation, Production and revenue accounting, Distribution and logistics.
- Utilities: Asset-intensive operations, Maintenance and field operations, Complex supply chain environments, Capital project management.
