Our Montreal based client is seeking a Bilingual Senior SAP FI Consultant to join their project immediately with the exact end date to be confirmed. The ideal consultant will be responsible for financial processes, reporting, and system configuration within the SAP environment. There is a strong preference for candidates to be on-site, however, the client will be flexible for the right resource if they are senior enough.
Key Responsibilities:
- Configure, maintain, and optimize SAP FI modules (GL, AP, AR, AA, etc.).
- Ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with accounting standards.
- Integrate SAP FI with other modules (CO, MM, SD) and external systems.
- Troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement fixes.
- Design and generate financial reports (e.g., balance sheets, P&L statements).
- Support month-end/year-end closing processes.
- Train end-users on SAP FI functionalities and best practices.
- Maintain system documentation and process workflows.
- Work with cross-functional teams to implement enhancements or new features.
- Participate in SAP upgrades or migrations.
