Our Ontario based client is seeking an experienced Senior SAP FICO Consultant to guide strategic discovery sessions during a Rapid Discovery initiative, starting in early to mid-May. This is a short-term, high-impact role with a likely chance for an extension. The position is hybrid, with possible stakeholder meetings on-site as needed.
This project requires a strategic, polished consultant with deep S/4HANA Finance expertise, strong workshop facilitation skills, and the ability to align business processes with SAP best practices. The ideal candidate will excel in stakeholder communication, bridging the gap without requiring configuration or technical execution.
- Lead end-to-end discovery workshops, documenting as-is/to-be finance processes (GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Controlling, etc.) in S/4HANA.
- Identify pain points, gaps, and high-level solution approaches for finance transformation.
- Collaborate with finance stakeholders to define requirements and prioritize initiatives.
- Deliver clear, actionable recommendations and presentations to leadership.
- Ensure alignment between business objectives and S/4HANA’s embedded finance capabilities (e.g., Central Finance, New GL, CO-PA).
- 8+ years of SAP FICO experience, with strong S/4HANA Finance implementation knowledge.
- Proven track record facilitating discovery workshops for large-scale projects.
- Exceptional consulting and communication skills and must present complex concepts clearly to executives and technical teams alike.
- Ability to work seamlessly with cross-functional teams (client stakeholders).
