Our Montreal-based client is seeking an experienced bilingual Senior SAP PP-DS (Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling) Consultant with VC experience with both sales and super (BOM) to join their project starting May/June 2025 and will run till the October/November 2025 with the possibility of a further extension. Our client is transitioning from a 100% Make-to-Order (MTO) to a Make-to-Stock (MTS) production model in their SAP S/4HANA environment. Our clients current SAP system already involves PP-DS as well as VC for sales. VC super BOM will be implemented as part of this project. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience with SAP VC and hands-on PP-DS configuration. This will be hybrid position with on-site work required only 30% of the time. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Configure and optimize Variant Configuration (VC) for complex products.
• Manage Super BOMs and Sales BOMs integration with PP-DS.
• Ensure consistency between variant pricing, production, and material requirements.
• Lead detailed scheduling (DS) setup for variant-driven production.
• Configure heuristics, optimizers, and scheduling strategies for mixed-model production.
• Implement pegging, capacity leveling, and sequence optimization.
• Align PP-DS with VC, MM, SD, and EWM processes.
• Support MRP Live integration for variant-based planning.
• Troubleshoot issues in order confirmation, ATP, and production scheduling.
• Train planners & super users on VC-driven scheduling.
• Document configurations, best practices, and process flows.
