Our Calgary based client is seeking an experienced Senior SAP SuccessFactors HR & Payroll Consultant to join their project in August 2026 and will run until the end of December 2026, with possibility of an extension. The ideal candidate should have extensive hands-on experience in HR and Payroll modules, with strong expertise in Canadian and US payroll, time management, benefits, pension administration, HR compliance, and S/4HANA optimization. This will be a fully remote work setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support the implementation of SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central within an SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud environment, preparing for upcoming project rollouts.
- Serve as the senior functional expert for SAP S/4HANA HR and Payroll, with specialized focus on Canadian and US payroll, time management, benefits, pension administration, HR compliance, and system optimization.
- Configure and manage complex payroll rules, wage types, and time quota conversions, including leave entitlement calculations.
- Support HR operations for unionized workforces, ensuring compliance with collective bargaining agreements and regulatory requirements.
- Facilitate requirements-gathering sessions with stakeholders to define business needs and translate them into detailed functional specifications.
- Coordinate and oversee offshore development and testing teams to ensure timely, high-quality delivery of system enhancements and fixes.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to align HR systems with broader S/4HANA optimization initiatives and private cloud architecture.
